Test Shots
This shot had good lighting, considering it was only one main bulb from the center of the ceiling. Her face is well lit, and manages to capture her facial expressions well. However, I will still use dim fill light to light up the left side of her face a bit more to cancel out the slight shadows that are cast on the left side of her face. The sound quality isn't the most highest in this clip, but there will be diegetic music over the top of the clip in this scene.
This shot is well lit, and is unsteady. I will need to have a tripod to ensure that the camera isn't shaky. The lighting is slightly over exposed as she walks into the clip, so I may have to include some artificial lighting, and take the final shot a bit closer, so it enables me to do so.
My third test shot:
I took an image the other side of the previous shot, and it is clear that I need to have some dim lighting on her face, to bring her out of the shadows slightly, and so the background doesn't look more lit than her. Since in this shot, she is still her normal character, and she hasn't had the phone call yet, she needs to be well lit rather than dim to show that she hasn't switched yet.
I tested the scene where Anna is walking up the stairs. I will need to use a tripod, and pan up even slower so it is more steady and less shaky. For lighting, I would like it to be a lot darker outside, and the windows let in a lot of light. I will need to have the hallway light on above her, which will bring out shadows, and will make her in the shadows which will add to the suspense. The knife will be held by her side rather than behind her back to portray to the danger she will pose.
